i found these shorts for a literal steal. everytime i attempt to wear them i fall short of any sort of cute outfit, so today i forced myself to find something that would work all together. also these shoes--loooove them also a first time wear even though i have had them for a few months now. i have a small obsession with shoes, when i find some that are drool worthy i just want to wear them all the time including in bed (i have never really worn any pair of shoes in bed, but you get the idea right?).  anyway i am in the thinking mode lately. think think think. it is all i really find myself doing..very strange, yet relaxing and self-motivating in a way.

always want to look like a soccer mom (you know...) even though i am one!

I don't really like to take pics of me but this will be a fun thing to

do with the sistas!

I was feeling my inner "jane" of the jungle today ha ha!

I have always loved looking at photography and fashion magazines

so I like to look at an outfit and try to do it myself.

This is how the shoot went 90% of the time! Me laughing and feeling silly!
 I don't know how Bre got anything usable actually.

We went to the circus today and that is what I was thinking about here.  The elastic girls- oh I wish I were still flexible!!

This place has the most random things- like this awesome plaque! On this site in 2010 this happened!

I love how this outfit was so comfy..i decided to try some black out today. i think it worked well

tried to look like i wasn't cold..but there was a lot of wind

and a burst of cold; that is of course until we were done. Once we were done it warmed back up.

I found the best prizes today at the thrift store.

I went to buy an ice cream near the

store but decided it would be a bigger treat if i went inside...so i did. and i'm glad i did.

i have had this outfit idea in my head for awhile now, and i finally decided to purge it since it was blocking all other inspirating ideas from forming. i used to wear a lot of black accompanied by more and more black, although i still love all black and find the look so very classic i now find myself searching to add some form of color-ususally through accessories. without color, life in general would be drab (is that even a word? i hope so, because it fits perfectly). i love everything color. as fall is sneaking in through the tight seal of summer, i am finding myself scoping my closet looking for those pieces i can only wear in the summer with bare legs and arms . summer is my most favorite season and i am already experiencing a bout of seasonal depression. yes i love fall and i love most everything associated with it-leaves changing, halloween, the smell of fall, the layering...except the cold weather and lack of sunshine. ahh i am clinging to summer and sunshine with all of my might! stay summer stay!! i must add that this has been the greatest september weather and i am more than happy and extremely thankful for it.

another day, another dollar. Sometimes I wonder why we waste our lives with those that really won't be there and to think that we are all just replaceable in the end. Do you ever feel like you are working your life away? To escape to fashion is another world. It is my escape; my other world. I love flowers. Courtney and I decided it would be fun to take pictures around the "rose garden" we found at a park.

a new adventure



after complete obsession with style blogs, it was a mutual decision for us to start our very own. i feel like my style has totally changed since danielle first introduced me to a multitude of style blogs, so thanks to those who have perfected the art of style blogging. i see personal style as a way to express and create myself, also having a mild shopping addiction doesn't hurt either. since i first started looking at style blogs, particularly second skin style i have developed the love for thrifting-after work, saturdays, on my day off and sometimes on my lunch break. its hard to pass a thrift store and not wonder what fabulous treasures are inside. cheers to starting something new!
